Via ferratas are man made climbing routes that allows you to discover the vertical world. It is a fun and accessible activity for the whole family
Around Annecy, there are plenty of via ferratas, an hour drive maximum: Via of col des Aravis, Via of col de la Colombière, via of Aillon ...
It is possible to climb via ferratas on half a day or the whole day. It is usually a short walk before (10 to 30 minutes walk) and then a few hours climb. There are different levels, from the beginner ones(from 7 year old) to the highest and steepest ones (more athletic and long)
All the technical gear is lent to you ( harness, helmet, special vai ferrata dynamic sling)
